Frequently Asked Questions
Where is rebloomed located?
Rebloomed is located within Mars Hill Arts Center. The address is 2811 Mars Hill St, Indianapolis, IN 46241. This is where florals will be dropped off and orders will be picked up! Shipping information below.
What methods does REBLOOMED use to dry YOUR florals?
There are many different ways to preserve flowers. The two ways that Rebloomed preserves flowers are with silica gel beads and a flower press. Silica gel is used when the flowers need to be dried in their natural form. This process keeps the shape and color of the flowers and can be used in larger molds like the bookends or the arch. The flower press process is used to flatten your florals so they can be used in items like the trinket tray or the floating frame.
Why choose resin for your bouquet?
Resin is a great medium for preserving your flowers. It is a very durable glass like art form that will last for a lifetime. Since the flowers are completely dry before using in resin, colors will not fade over time. Your flowers would ultimately be frozen in time, and you will be able to admire your keepsakes for many years to come.
ABOUT HOW LONG DOES THE OVERALL PROCESS TAKE?
Bouquets are worked on in the order they are received. Once your bouquet is next to be worked on, I will send you design options to choose from, and we will get creating! Due to the influx of bouquets received each weekend, production time could take up to 6-8 months after flowers are dropped off. Attention to detail and quality are a first priority and can cause the artist to take a little extra time on each keepsake! I promise you the wait is completely worth it!
Can I use Silk or Sola Flowers? What if my bouquet is already dry?
All flowers are welcome in the Rebloomed studio!! A 15% discount is applied to orders with silk, sola, or pre-dried flowers. Pre-dried flowers can mean flowers that you have stored to dry after your actual wedding date.
wHAT SHOULD I DO IF I’M OUT OF STATE?
Out of state orders are most definitely accepted! Florals will need to be overnight shipped to the Rebloomed studio. This is a MUST! Flowers are fragile and can be easily ruined from regular 2-3 day shipping. Overnight shipping prices vary from how far you are from Indianapolis; it is important to budget accordingly! Please use this link to demonstrate how you should pack and ship your florals: Packing and Shipping Flowers Video. It does not have to be exact, and you are free to use anything you have around the house as long as the bouquet has ample cushioning for its travel.
Do not ship your bouquet in a vase of water.
how should i keep the flowers after the event?
After your event, please keep your flower stems in a vase of water or wrapped in a wet paper towel until you are able to drop them off at Rebloomed’s studio. This will prevent your flowers from wilting or browning. Please try to not to get the petals wet, because this will cause your florals to become mushy and fall apart. It is important that the flowers are dropped off no later than 3 days after the event to ensure the florals are in the best condition to preserve. I recommend having a designated vase for your bouquet to sit in until drop off!
What Does the payment process look like?
A 25% nonrefundable deposit is due to secure your date. There is a limit to the number of floral bouquets Rebloomed can take per week, so it is very important that you pay your deposit as soon as possible. You will receive an invoice within 24 hours after filling out the booking form. The remainder 75% is due by the time of bouquet drop off. Third Party financing such as Klarna or AfterPay are available at checkout.
Full payment is required by the time of bouquet drop off.
What if my wedding date has just passed?
There is a limit to how many bouquets are accepted each weekend; therefore, the acceptance of last-minute bouquets varies. Reach out to Rebloomed directly by submitting a booking form or messaging on any social media platform (preferably Instagram!!). Deposit invoices will also no longer be necessary because they are in place for scheduling ahead of time. Full payment will be due at the time of bouquet drop off!
Any disclaimers?
With resin, bubbles are inevitable. Rebloomed uses a few different processes that will ensure minimal bubbles, however a few might appear in the final project.
Through the drying process, flowers may lose pigment or become a darker shade. Rebloomed does not use color correction as a part of their process. Pink flowers tend to lose color the most and red flowers can turn to a dark purple color.
Flowers may contain underlying bruising. This can happen any time between the flower field to my studio. Bruising unfortunately does not appear until the resin is applied to the flowers. Bruising should not be looked at as a flaw, instead as a part of your flowers journey.
Resin itself is a very finnicky medium. Sometimes it does not go as planned and can require extra steps to ensure a flawless finish. If any issues seem to arise, Rebloomed will reach out immediately, explain what happened, and give options on how to fix any mistake. We are extremely experienced with resin at the Rebloomed studio, so trust in us to navigate appropriately through any mishaps.
